The new Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, called the development of the digital economy and, in particular, the cryptocurrency control systеm a priority for today’s work.
In particular, I want to say that in 2017, Mishustin, being the head of the Russian Tax Service, called cryptocurrency a financial instrument and noted that every financial instrument should be monitored.
He also called cryptocurrencies a dangerous asset for a country whose movements the state does not notice.
In general, we believe that soon the topic of cryptocurrencies in the Russian Federation will be “tightened” and all Russians who want to buy or sell cryptocurrency will be taxed.
